Metalcore é um gênero musical que consiste na mistura de Metal com Hardcore. Este estilo está se popularizando cada vez mais nos dias atuais, não havendo muito tempo que começou a fazer sucesso fora de suas cenas regionais. Mas o Metalcore não é um estilo novo, é existente desde o final da década de 1980, um bom exemplo de banda é o Integrity, surgido em 1989.
